Ochako's eyes widen, like a lightbulb went on in her head, and briefly she looks overjoyed - he's wearing the scarf she made him!! - then actually focuses long enough to see that Dito's angry. In fact, he looks rather furious - she's so conditioned to it from Bakugou - this type of anger specifically - that Ochako barely registers sometime. She acknowledges, sure, but she never rises to the same level.]

[Her face falls; her voice grows soft and uncertain, and Dito feels his throat tighten. He swallows, feeling a strange, bitter taste on the back of his tongue, though he can't imagine why. This is the sort of reaction he has to Five's overtures, when her pouts of disappointment usually signified a punishment was on the horizon. But Ochako is not Five-- even when she wrapped her arms around him in that unexpected display of affection, Dito never felt powerless around her; never felt as if he were unable to escape her clutches.
Clearly her tactics are to disarm, not to overpower.]
No, i-it's fine-- [The words are out of his mouth before his brain catches up, and he feels his face flush with chagrin. He shakes his head vehemently.] I mean it's not fine! I told you we were square! Why do you gotta tip the balance like this again?!
[Ochako is moving toward the house as he speaks, tugging along her little sled of supplies - it's probably better to talk inside and not in the godawful cold and snow. Unlocking the door, she opens it and ushers him in with a casual wave of her hand, speaking as she does.]

[Once within the warm confines of her and Bakugou's house, Ochako starts to shuck off all the excess layers, hanging the wet and snowy garments on a coat hook to dry off.] I got gifts for all my friends - that's part of the tradition, at least back in my world. You give gifts to friends, family, and the people you love. It's about making people happy, being together, and the joy of giving. That's why I really like the winter holiday back home, I just really, really love seeing people smile. You never have to get me anything back, I don't really need too much. Only do it if you want to.
